MARSHALL – The Marshall Fire Departments responded to back-to-back fire calls last night. The first fire was reported by a passerby around 10:30 p.m. at the 1100 block of Horizon Drive. One occupant was in the house at the time. The Marshall Police Department was able to get the occupant out safely.   When MFD arrived, they found the front of the house had an exterior fire and the fire had worked its way towards the interior of the home.
