If you had a bottle of Perrier recently, and you thought, “This tastes like crap.”  Well, there may have been a reason for that.

Perrier was ordered to destroy two million bottles of water after FECAL BACTERIA was discovered in one of its wells in southern France.  They’d been using the well since 1903 . . . over a HUNDRED years.

So is YOUR Perrier POO-FREE?  They say YES.  It was just a “precaution” . . . and “all bottles on the market can be consumed in complete safety.”

Perrier’s parent company, Nestlé, hasn’t gone into specifics about the contamination, but it sounds like a temporary issue.  The region had a lot of heavy rains last month, and it may have had something to do with that.

Nestlé says the well is being “reinforced” . . . and use of it, “will resume at the appropriate time under the control of the authorities.”
